Here’s the scuttlebutt on the antho:

For this edition, we chose a theme of Monsters and Ghosts. We were blown away by the creativity, originality, and outstanding quality of the writing across the nearly two hundred submissions. Our job was a tough but pleasurable one. We’re doubly excited that most of the stories in this edition are being published here for the first time.

Surreal South ’11 will be available in print and as an ebook. Can’t wait for you to read it. You won’t be disappointed!

I don’t know the details, yet, for all the other stories, but mine is called “Old Dogs, New Tricks” and it involves a dog-fight, a man down on his luck, and a little powder found in the East Indes.
